How to lay underlayment for vinyl floors
Spread the lining so that the words “this side up” are facing up. Press the edges close to the wall and spread in the same direction as the vinyl plank. Use a box of boards to hold the top of the liner while spreading.
Use tape to tape the two lining strips together so they don't move or get damaged when walked on.*
(*) Alpha Vinyl Pad already has an integrated liner, so there is no need to apply a separate liner.
