Which underlayment should I choose for vinyl floors?
Use a specialized underlayment for Quick-Step vinyl floors to maintain stability, surface and walking feel according to the board's design.
Specialized underlayment helps compensate for minor surface roughness and retains the properties of LVT floors.
There are three types of liners compatible with Alpha Vinyl(*):
- is comfortable. Multi-purpose type helps compensate for slight roughness and reduce noise when combined with Quick-Step vinyl flooring.
- Hot. Suitable for rooms with direct sunlight through large glass doors or with underfloor heating and cooling systems. This lining also reduces noise heard in the room.
- TRANSIT. Helps reduce sound transmission to neighboring spaces, suitable for upper floors and apartments.
