How to saw engineered wood flooring

Engineered wood flooring can be cut with the following saws.

  • Fine tooth hand saw. Place decorative side up.
  • Fine tooth electric disc saw, for example 22 cm diameter blade, 60 teeth. Place decorative side up.
  • Jig saw. For a clean cut, place the decorative side down with a regular blade or up with a reverse tooth blade. The Bosch T 127 D can be used for rough cutting and the T 101 B for finer cutting.

In most cases, the cut does not need to be perfect. They are often covered with files or drawing boards.
