Chairs with wheels can be used on Quick-Step laminate floors. Choose floor protection measures according to each type of chair. Below are three common cases.
Regular office chair
A wheel chair used to sit on your desk. This chair mainly moves over a limited area in front of your desk. This chair can be used on all our floor types, taking into account the 2 important measures below.
Use soft wheels
Most chairs today can be ordered with soft or hard wheels. Soft wheels often have an outer layer of different materials and colors (usually light gray).
Soft wheels will significantly extend the life of laminate wood floors. Another benefit is that soft wheels on hard floor surfaces such as laminate floors will also significantly increase sitting comfort.
Protect floors with carpets
Additionally, you can place a transparent mat underneath the office chair. Choose a sheet to cover hard floors without recording the shape on the back. Make sure the area is large enough. In case the chair has strong wheels, it is recommended to combine soft wheels and a protective mat.

Since this chair is also used outside, it is important to check that there are no small stones stuck in the wheel posts. They can create cracks and teeth in your Quick-Step floor. Three-seat chair
A mobility aid that helps people move around while remaining seated. The chair is equipped with small wheels. Because a large portion of the floor is exposed and a lot of friction and weight is applied around the floor via the baby wheels, this chair can only be used on specific floors.
