Things to do before installing vinyl flooring
Check all the tools and then slide a board across the floor to find any protrusions. Treat these spots before laying to avoid damaging the floor.
- With Alpha Vinyl, level cement joints between tiles or other joints 5 mm (0.2 in) wide.
Vacuum dust and debris from the substrate.
Place the board boxes horizontally in the room to be tiled for at least 48 hours to allow the boards to adapt. Keep the room temperature between 18–30 °C before and during tiling, and for at least 24 hours after tiling.
