Ways to cut boards
- To shorten Alpha Vinyl boards in a straight line, place decorative side up and then use concave curved blade vinyl cutting knife.
- To cut vinyl panels, draw a straight line along the surface to be cut and use a knife to cut tightly. You don't need to cut the vinyl completely. TIP: if there is a liner attached, you should also cut it before breaking the plastic sheet.
- Then use both hands to break the board.
For other difficult cuts, you need to saw wooden boards. Depending on the type of saw, you can place the wood planks with the decorative side facing up or down.
Before cutting, use the remainder to determine how cleanly the cut should be (decorative side up or down).
